It looks like adidas shoes for mens has found yet another way to re-imagine the Superstar with this all-new cut-out construction for women. The iconic original low-top silhouette and shelltoe remain, but from there things take a drastic turn from the ordinary for the Superstar, as it features a deconstructed leather upper with two layers of die-cut paneling in geometric shapes. This debut colorway goes with a crisp shade of white up top, with an off-white toe and sole for an antiqued look.
Earlier this week adidas tubular runner womens officially announce an update to the flagship Superstar model with integrated Boost technology called the adidas Superstar BOOST. Quietly a completely redesigned Superstar model featuring Bounce and Primeknit technology started arriving at retailers this weekend. While the Superstar Boost keeps most of the original architecture of the shoe, the Superstar Bounce gets a brand new sole and a Primeknit upper. The shelltoe is kept nearly intact but with out it this can very much be a whole new model. But then it would loose all of the heritage that comes with the classic Superstar.
The celebrated its 30th anniversary adidas ultra boost not too long ago, but has since taken a backseat to a number of silhouettes in the three stripe’s catalog that’s now more focused on innovation and new technologies than anything else. That doesn’t mean that the 80s icon hasn’t been revamped itself, as adidas Originals is ushering in the New Year with two premium “Metallic Toe” takes on the Superstar’s legendary shelltoe construction.
There’s a new feminine approach given to adidas superstar with this new Slip-On version of the classic shell-toed sneaker. The shell toe is actually about the only thing that make these recognizable as a Superstar, as the upper gets a complete remodel with a laceless design featuring elastic cross straps. The Superstar Slip-On makes for the perfect summertime edition of the shoe, especially in this minty light green colorway.
